Santorini is often referred to as Thira and is a hot spot within the cyclades.  Just a short flight or boat ride from Athens and offering easy access to many other islands.  Most of our couples will enjoy a little island hopping to see more of what the islands have to offer.  You could add a few days in Crete, Mykonos or one of the other islands.  If you are looking to see more of the islands there are options for Greek Island cruises. Mykonos

Mykonos is another popular island that is often paired up with Santorini for many of our clients.  The island offers many beautiful beaches and the main town offers a variety of nightlife venues.

Summer can certainly be a party. Enjoy your evenings dancing.  They also have a few unique dishes to the Island such as Kopanisti.  It's a delicious mix of spicy cheese and port.

Greek Cuisine

Greek food is a must!    Whatever your preferences you will find a selection of dishes for everyone.  We highly recommend trying their speciality dish Mouzaka. Which is a lasagna style dish made with minced beef, potato and eggplant for the main ingredients. A nice greek salad at lunch or a Gyros always makes a tasty snack.  There's always a nice selection of restaurants and Greek tavernas to visit.  We recommend Bed & Breakfast accommodation so you can explore the true feel of Greece and try out the local cuisine.  If you love seafood, you will not be disappointed.

The Greek Islands

I have had the pleasure of visiting many Islands throughout Greece including Corfu, Crete, Rhodes, Zakynthos (Zante), Kefalonia & Kos to name a few.  For the best weather I would recommend a visit between May - October. Many places are very quiet with cooler temperatures early May and from Mid October.  Some of the islands also start to shut down certain areas so for the best experience I would recommend between those dates.
