What are the Benefits of an All-Inclusive Vacation to Jamaica?
If you are planning your vacation to Jamaica you need to
create a budget for five main things: travel (including airport transfers),
accommodation, meals, activities and souvenirs. The travel and accommodation should be easy
to budget for as these will bet set out in your Travel Advisors pricing. Optional
features at the hotel however, may require a credit card onto which an initial
indeterminable amount will be charged later.
If you are staying Room Only or Bed & Breakfast at your resort. You
will then need to visit local restaurants and plan activities that fall within
your assigned budget, and probably end up using far more than you’d anticipated
unless you planned it out very well in advance.

The best way around this is to choose an all-inclusive
vacation. Resorts across the island offering All Inclusive often start at 3*
and include Luxurious 5* options. Sandals Resorts are the Ultimate 5* Luxury
All Inclusive resorts and certainly one of my favourite options on the Island. This will make your trip to Jamaica much more
relaxed as all essential components of the holiday will be already paid for
before you get there, so all you need financially is “pocket money” to spend on
postcards, tipping and local craft souvenirs.
Before making your reservation, make sure you check what is
included in the all-inclusive price.
Does this include transfers? What
about gratuities and tips? Are drinks
included when you need them or only at meal-times? What about alcoholic beverages? Do they
provide kids clubs for the little ones or teen lounges to keep the older ones
occupied? Are the activities listed
included or at an extra charge? Are
there any hidden costs at the hotel or is it really all-inclusive, so that if
you arrived with no money at all, you’d not have a problem? If there are a number of hotels offering
all-inclusive deals in the area of Jamaica that you plan on visiting, see how
they compare with each other for what they offer. Based on your preferences we can do the comparisons
for you and present you with the best options. Our Advisors will make sure all
the main features are included, but sometimes upgrading resorts a little can
include way more benefits for the difference. Private airport transfers may
also be preferred instead of the group transfers often provided by tour
operators in their Package pricing. Other
Add-ons you may be interested in would include Montego Bays Airport ‘Club Mobay’
for Arrival and/or departure. This extra
perk can check you through the airport faster and for departures you can relax
in their Club Mobay lounge with refreshments and snacks included. If you are planning excursions, this can also
be booked in advance so you can prepay instead of paying locally in USD.

If you are budget minded, or if your vacation has to fall
within a certain price bracket, then all-inclusive is a great way of taking the
financial stress out of your holiday.
Reserve it, pay for it, and then turn up and enjoy it without worrying
about what’s being charged to your credit card!
